At ARN RUDE, we have always had an appreciation for the classics. Though we believe a little character never hurt anyone.
We believe that what lies beneath the surface deserves just as much attention as what meets the eye.
Inspired by the beautiful linings of tailored suits, we bring that same appreciation for detail to footwear. Considered silhouettes, rich interiors and unexpected touches, with comfort and quality at the heart of it all.
Character is not only a matter of what is hidden. It is equally found in the outer expression — in the line of the shoe, the choice of leather, and the balance of restraint and charm.
The House of ARN RUDE
Founded in Copenhagen by Edgar Arn Løfquist-Rude, with its first loafers designed in Italy, ARN RUDE was born out of an appreciation for traditional footwear and a particular fondness for the unconventional.
Our ambition is to create a house of loafers with a character of its own. One that appreciates tradition, but has never felt particularly obliged to follow it.
We admire the art of dressing well without making too much of an occasion of it. A certain charm, a little indulgence and the confidence to wear something simply because one likes it.
For those who understand that elegance is rarely a matter of trying too hard.
